Apparently, it's possible to take this futuristic sportswear design concept a bit too far. The British Olympic (female) swim team found out that their specially designed lycra swimsuits were transparent when wet.

Now, there is a quote that goes something like "never ascribe to malice what can be adequately explained by stupidity", but did no one figure that swimsuits are just the teeniest bit likely to *gasp* get wet ? I suspect that all has not been err.. revealed in this sordid affair. In other news, viewership of the swimming heats in Athens is expected to dive following this exposé. Just when the oglers thought things were going swimmingly well for them too.
